D. Mark Gardiner joined the firm as an associate lawyer in 2010. Mark enrolled in the Foundation Year Program at the University of Kings College in 1987 and obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology in 1991. His interest in the Criminal Justice System led him to Ottawa where he worked as a probation officer and a counselor for federal inmates on day parole.
During his two years in Ottawa, he also obtained a Bachelor of Social Sciences Degree in Criminology from the University of Ottawa, graduating Magna Cum Laude. His fondness for the Maritimes led him back to Halifax in 1994 where he was accepted into the Dalhousie Law School. Since obtaining his Law Degree in 1997, Mark has focused primarily on providing strong advocacy in criminal and civil litigation but he also has broad experience in family law, real estate law and personal injury.
